I named my project for Last year's Nanowrimo: Sister. I admitted defeat after spending too much time on the fleshing out of the world and the last day passed.
My one point of pride for my first time of Nanowrimo was that officially I failed. But when I counted my work for Nanowrimo together with the material I wrote to flesh out the setting, I did rack up 83.341 words. So I did prove to myself that I could focus enough on one project to write past the 50000 word mark.
Still, I didn't stick to my original goal, which was to actually finish a story of more than 50k words in one month.
Anyway, I'm going to post the parts I did write of the story and hopefully get some feedback.
