So after 5 years of doubting myself and finally reading up on NaNoWriMo, I finally took the step.
This will be my first year, and I'm giddy about it.

The thought is refreshing actually. A full month of just writing and not caring much about the quality (that's for later).
For me it will be a good exercise, it will force me to focus on creating stuff, instead of thinking too much about the plot.

The bad thing is that no one I know real life will be joining. A friend did express interest for next year, but he's busy this year.
So I'll have to look for support somewhere else.
The forums on the NaNoWriMo seem different from what I'm used to seeing online forum. Usually it's people brought together by a common interest and then just communicate with each other and form a small 'community'.
The NaNo forums on the other hand feel like a bunch of energetic people with a common drive. It's infectious. xD
